Roosevelt junior Tyler Spencer finished second at the Big VIII League boys final, covering the 2.9-mile course at Andulka Park in Riverside in 14:48.9, helping the Mustangs repeat as champions with a 27-69 victory over Corona. Spencer improved from seventh at last year's league final.
